One of the high profile institutions of learning, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, has been serving since 2001, and it is providing a wide array of over 55 courses in a wide range of educational disciplines that include engineering, computer applications, management, pharmacy, and hospitality amongst other superior courses. The results of this expansion of various courses saw CGC Landran catapulted with the high-esteem 4th Education Leadership Award and Excellence in Innovation & Research at different occasions like WIEF, Start-Up India, and IALM in 2021.

As pertinent development, the college, through the Department of International Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Creative Arts in United Kingdom, boosting the institution throughout the world. CGC Landran has an international outreach that is enviable, as its global partnerships are over 55 and are in over 15 countries. The college is also a home to the more than 500 students who study there abroad, which makes it more globalized.

The college enjoys a very good and well-established record of placements together with its very efficient placement cell that has been active since 2001. The total number of companies taking part in the placement drives has exceeded 1000 with over 10000 jobs being offered. The top most salary package that the institution has provided has been more than Rs 50 LPA. As shown through the outstanding accomplishments that CGC landran has achieved in filing more than 2500 patents, obtaining project financing worth over 20 crores of Rupees, and impacting on the publication of more than 5000 research and articles; CGC landran is determined to stay ahead with innovation.

The institution also has its own ACIC RISE center, which hosts an initiative for young entrepreneurs to start-up and scale up at state of the art facilities. CGC Landran is also a supporter of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) to provide an attachment of discipline and leadership functions to the students, National Cadet Corps aims at fostering healthy competition to bring up the next generation of officers to the Indian Armed Forces.
